The activity follows whatever your relative enjoys and feels like on the day — there's no fixed agenda.
How often do visits happen, and can the schedule change?
We set up a routine that matches your household's needs — this might be two or three times a week, or once a week to begin with. If the family's circumstances shift, we adjust accordingly with a short conversation and a revised schedule.
What is the Family Coordination service, and who is it for?
This service is for families who want a clearer picture of what's available locally and a shared plan everyone can refer to. We gather information about community resources in Petaling Jaya and the wider Selangor area, create a simple support timeline, and keep it updated for the whole family. It suits households where children live in different locations or are busy with work.
What devices does the Technology Connection Help cover?
We work with smartphones and tablets — Android or iOS, whichever your relative already uses or is most comfortable with. We set up video calls (WhatsApp, FaceTime, or similar), basic messaging, and photo sharing. Each session moves at the pace your relative is comfortable with, and we leave a large-print guide behind for reference.
How do you choose who visits my relative?
We take time to understand your relative's background, interests, and preferred language before suggesting a companion. Families are welcome to share any preferences or concerns beforehand. We aim for a settled, consistent match — the same person visiting each time rather than rotating staff.
What languages do your companions speak?
Our companions are comfortable in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, and Mandarin. When you enquire, let us know which language your relative feels most at ease with and we'll match accordingly.
How does the pricing work, and is there a long-term commitment?
Companionship visits are RM 560, the Family Coordination service is RM 1,800, and Technology Connection Help is RM 4,500. These are clearly scoped arrangements — there's no hidden commitment or ongoing subscription beyond what's agreed at the start. If you'd like to continue after the initial arrangement, we set that up separately.
